QUETTA: A special team has been formed to investigate the suicide bomb blast which had taken place three days ago in Pishin stop of Quetta city.

QUETTA: A special team has been formed to investigate the suicide bomb blast which had taken place three days ago in Pishin stop of Quetta city.

Whereas Forensic experts have also collected the evidence from the spot of the incident.

DIG Quetta police formed four-member special inquiry team to investigate suicide bomb blast targeting security personnel on August 12 at Pishin Stop area of Quetta.

The team will include CTD, CIA and Special branch representatives which would be headed by SSP Investigation Dr. Zahid. According to the DIG Quetta, a JIT has also been decided to investigate the incident, in this regard the application has been sent to the interior ministry.

On the other hand, the three-member team of Punjab Forensic Science Laboratory specializing in Lahore also completed the work of gathering evidence from the scene.

Forensic experts will examine the evidence comparing it with other suicide bombings in Balochistan taken place within last one year.

The Investigation teams have also received CCTV footage to trace the location of the facilitators.

It may be mentioned here that in Pishin Stop suicide bomb blast, 15 people, including ten Army personnel were killed.
