QUETTA: A tribal elder was killed and his guard sustained injures in firing incident in Dalbandine area of Chagi district on Tuesday.

According to the police the tribal elder identified as Haji Ataullah was on way with his guard when unknown armed men opened fire on them in front of Prince Shah Fahad hospital. As result tribal elder Haji Ataullah was killed on the spot and his guard samiullah sustained injures. The attackers managed to escape after committing the crime.

According to the sources   Tribal elder Haji Ataullah was on way from home to bazaar when he was targeted.

The reason behind the killing could not be known till the report was filed .

A case has been registered against the unknown persons and investigations are underway.
