ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) spokesman Fawad Chaudhry while speaking to Media said on Friday that Supreme Court (SC) will announce the verdict of the Panama Papers implementation case within ten days.

Fawad said that the court will now declare the complete verdict whether through a three-member bench or five. He said that hopes are high that SC will disqualify PM Nawaz, Ishaq Dar and Captain Safdar after which their cases will be sent to NAB court for trial.

Earlier, Fawad suggested that it would have been better if Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif would have taken a political step himself.

“It would have been better if Nawaz Sharif and his party would have taken a genuine political step instead of getting support of fake political theories,” he said while talking to media outside Supreme Court.

Fawad insisted that the premier can still implement this move before the court’s decision. Taking a dig at Abid Sher Ali, he said that the minister is not lamenting Nawaz Sharif but himself as he is also going to be held accountable.

“This the starting point of accountability and not the end,” he asserted.

The spokesman criticized Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sherry Rehman and said that she has arrived now to receive that trophy for which she hasn’t contested. He notified that the social setup in Pakistan has changed as people now possess political consciousness.

Asad Umer said that PM Nawaz was not held accountable in Musharraf era as he tendered an apology.

PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi also spoke to media and said that his party is not fighting against any individual or family but a system and class.

“We fought the battle of supremacy of law and new Pakistan will be formed of this message reached the nation,” he said.

He expressed hope that Supreme Court will not let down the nation and reserved judgment in the case today.

Naeemul Haque said that Prime Minister insulted the nation however; their reign has now drowned. He said that PTI will hold everyone accountable after gaining power.

Supreme Court has reserved verdict on Panama Papers implementation case, probing money laundering charges against Sharif family after hearing arguments of all the parties.
