QUETTA: Chief Minister, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, has said that inter-Provincial Coordination and its further development would promote national solidarity and strengthen understanding among the people of Pakistan.

QUETTA: Chief Minister, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, has said that inter-Provincial Coordination and its further development would promote national solidarity and strengthen understanding among the people of Pakistan.

While receiving a cheque of Rs 132 million from the Punjab Chief Minister for 550 internees/graduates from quake-affected Awaran District by the Chief Minister said that Punjab had always came to help and rescue of the people of Balochistan in all natural calamities and disasters in the past.

The Punjab Minister for PDMA Mr. Mehr Ejaz and Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Assembly and Sardar Sher Ali Gorchani presented the cheque and conveyed the goodwill message from the Punjab Chief Minister, Mian Shahbaz Sharif.

A score of graduates from Awaran were also present along with Provincial Ministers and Government officials at the ceremony held at the CM Secretariat. The Chief Minister expressed his thanks for the generous contributions for the people affected by the earthquake in Awaran.

Nawab Sanaullah said that Punjab had always came forward and helped the affected people in devastating natural disasters and calamities in the past which had further strengthened the relationship among the people of various provinces.

Mehr Ejaz told the Chief Minister that he had brought goodwill for the people of Balochistan and praying for their well being and the people of Punjab will always standby with their Baloch brethren.

“ We have contributed our share to provide relief to the quake affected people as part of our national duty,” the Punjab Minister told the Chief Minister and other others present on the occasion.

He said Punjab would standby with the people of Balochistan in future also and share the sorrows in case of any disaster or calamity. He said the people of Punjab are keenly interested in seeing massive development in Balochistan along with the Punjab.

During his visit to Awaran following the devastating earthquake, Punjab Chief Minister pledged to help the Government of Balochistan in upgrading the Awaran Hospital, build a park and internship of 550 graduates from Awaran District. He said that the Government of Punjab had already paid Rs 85 million for upgrading the Awaran Hospital and Rs three million for the park. The Punjab Government had  paid Rs 132 million last year as cost of the internship and now against another amount of Rs 132 million is being paid for the graduates to complete their internship.

The Punjab Chief Minister had earmarked Rs two billion for building a cardiology centre in Quetta. With the allotment of land, the Punjab Government would start building the cardiology centre in Quetta.

Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Assembly Sardar Sher Ali Gorchani, said that the Punjab Chief Minister paid a visit to the quake-affected people in Awaran and provided all necessary help to fulfill his responsibility. He said that the Punjab Chief Minister love the people of Balochistan and always ready to help them in time of need. He thanked the Chief Minister of Balochistan for their warm welcome.
