QUETTA: The Chairman of Public Accounts Committee Abdul Majeed Khan Achakzai has taken serious notice of the words of Secretary Finance in post budget session and said that he would be summoned in the next budget session and would be asked to submit explanation.

He advised secretary finance to focus of reducing corruption in Finance Department, saying that if bureaucracy is keen to do politics, they should resign and take active part in politics.

Speaking to media after the session of Balochistan Assembly here on Sunday, he said that PAC had pointed out ghost employees in all the departments and now it is the responsibility of the Government and the departments concerned to point out these ghost employees and unmask them as well as the ones who facilitated their recruitment giving loss of billions of rupees to the Government. He said that PAC is not responsible for corruption as to where it is taking place as no audit of Finance Department has taken place since forty years and there are such schemes which have been in progress since 2002 and have still not completed.
