QUETTA: A man was killed and six people, including four children, were injured in a bomb explosion in Washuk district of Balochistan, on Saturday.

QUETTA: A man was killed and six people, including four children, were injured in a bomb explosion in Washuk district of Balochistan, on Saturday.

According to the details, the blast took place 2o’clock in the evening in Mashkail Tehsil of district Washuk, adjacent to Iran border in which a pickup vehicle was targeted with a remote control device which left the vehicle completely damaged.

Levies said a person identified as Shoukat Gangozai alias Meera was travelling in the vehicle along with six of his family members. A man Jalal Ahmed son of Muhammad Anwar was killed on the spot while Meera along with his wife and four children were injured.

The injured were shifted to Dalbandin district headquarter hospital following basic medical aid at Washuk. Condition of a women is stated to be critical.

The victim family suspects that the bomb was planted in the vehicle by a relative a day ago, hailing from Iran, who left back to Iran.

Local administration has registered a case into the incidents and further investigations are underway.
