QUETTA: Student of Siddiqabad Girls Model high school had carried out a protest against unavailability of basic needs at the campus situated in Sabzal road Quetta.

QUETTA: Student of Siddiqabad Girls Model high school had carried out a protest against unavailability of basic needs at the campus situated in Sabzal road Quetta.

They were of the opinion that the facilities are equals to nil in the school and girls are facing a lot of difficulties during their school hours. “Government is not interested to pay heed in the issues of education sector,” the slogan raising girls said during the protest.

The girls were holding play cards and were raising slogans against unavailability of electricity, water and washroom in the school. “Ramadan is about to be started than how can we study without electricity in such a hot weather?” students said.

The school administration contacted education department for many times and hundreds of thousands were allocated for school but not a single penny in spent yet.

“This situation is forcing girls to quit their education which is really disappointing,” the school administration told the correspondent.

They demanded from the government to take strict notice against this situation of school and assure the availability of all facilities for girls.
