QUETTA: Pillion riding has been banned in Quetta  during Ramazan-ul-Mubarak due to security concerns.

The Balochistan Government has imposed Section 144 and ban on pillion riding for a month in Quetta, according to a notification issued.

A decision to impose Section 144 and ban on pillion riding has been taken in view of the recent surge in terrorism and target killing incidents in Quetta.

According to a notification, pillion riding, congregation of more than five people, rallies and exhibition of weapons has been banned in Quetta for a month.
