QUETTA: A 10 kg remote control bomb was defused in provincial capital here on Wednesday by the police.

According to the details, unknown men had planted a bomb near graveyard at Sabzal Road. Police and Frontier Corps (FC) reached the site following a tip-off and cordoned off the area. The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) located and defused the bomb which weighed 10 kg.

The security sources said that the bomb was planted for targeting the school going children and common citizen which was defused timely to save the precious lives.
