All right minded people should strongly condemn the series of explosions in Lahore, Quetta and Waziristan leaving 18 dead and over 80 injured and some of them seriously. The most deadly blast was reported from Lahore where 13 people were killed and around 70 injured. Two very senior Police officers and six Police Jawans are among them. Three police wardens were also killed.

It seems that the terrorists precisely targeted the police force while attacking the protest rally of the Chemists and druggists in front of the Punjab Assembly Building. The bomb attack was a suicide attack on the police force. A Taliban linked terror group Jamaat Ahrar claimed the responsibility and it also released the name of suicide bomber. The group was involved in a series of blasts in Quetta and elsewhere in the country spreading terror among the people. The Government and its institutions should investigate all the aspect of attacks, particularly one that most of the deadly attacks on the civilians were carried out by the same group of terrorists. This time the terror group selected a soft target in Lahore and carried out the attack killing two senior police officers among 13 people, mostly policemen and police wardens. The investigators should inform the people about the findings, if any. In any case all the terror attacks are anti-people and anti-state and the culprits should be brought to justice for seeking an end to game of death and destruction. They are agents of the enemies of the people and the State and deserve no soft corner. Rather the people should take those people to task having soft corner for the Taliban and their allies or the terror outfits.

There are no two opinions about the link of terrorists between the religious seminaries and the presence of millions of illegal immigrants mainly from the neighbouring countries.  The displaced persons are more vulnerable to temptations to join the terror groups in return of small amount of money besides the students of the seminaries where they are prepared for Jihad or waging a holy war. It is the prime duty of the Government to plug both the major holes and stop recruitment of fresh blood in the terror outfits by sending all the illegal immigrants back to their country and the Government should take control all the seminaries, regardless of any discrimination and bring them part of the national education system. There should be no parallel system of education in any part of the country. Similarly, the Government should start rounding up all the illegal immigrants and punish all of them under the law and deport them without any delay. They are the biggest source of terrorism in Pakistan and 90 per cent of the problem will be solved once the illegal immigrants are sent back to their respective countries. Hostile intelligence agencies are suspected to be using such people in destabilizing the situation in Pakistan and keeping the Government under pressure for political and security reasons. Illegal immigrants had no right to stay in Pakistan and they should go back before the Government takes action against them. The Government should avert the pressure from vested interests supporting the illegal immigrants in self and political interests. Such elements stood exposed in recent past when they opposed repatriation of Afghans back to their country, both refugees and illegal immigrants. We will suggest to the Government not to mix up the two issues of Afghan refugees and the illegal immigrants from Afghanistan. In case of registered refugees, the Government should honour its commitment while in case of illegal immigrants, they deserve no mercy, no support as they willfully violated the laws of the land and thus they should be caught and immediately deported much before the deadline of December end.
