QUETTA: Balochistan High Court has accepted the constitutional petition of Balochistan National Party (BNP) for regular hearing on Friday, against holding of census in the presence of Afghan refugees.

QUETTA: Balochistan High Court has accepted the constitutional petition of Balochistan National Party (BNP) for regular hearing on Friday, against holding of census in the presence of Afghan refugees.
The Judge of the BHC, Mr. Justice Abdullah Baloch heard the petition that was filed by central leader of BNP-Mengal, Mir Ghulam Nabi Marri in which he pleaded that the party has reservations about the holding of census in the presence of Afghan refugees.
It further pleaded that several lac  internally displaced Baloch population had migrated to Sind and Punjab due to law and order situation in Balochistan and till resolving this issue the census should be postpone.
The learned vacation judge after initial hearing of the petition accepted it for regular hearing and notices have been issued to the Attorney General of Pakistan, Advocate General Balochistan and others in this connection.
Senior lawyer Jamil Ramzan and Agha Hasan Baloch appeared before the court on behalf of the petitioner.
