It is estimated that 70 to 90 percent of women in Pakistan have suffered some kind of abuse or violence. They estimate that 5000 women are killed per year for domestic violence.

According to WHO report in 48 different countries 10 to 69 percent of women were being physically hot by their partner at some point in their life.

There are many reason by which women and girls being beaten to death.12 yrs old girl who was beaten to death by her father and younger brother due to failing to make round roti in 2015 is it humanity? This is a small example of our society. There are many reasons by which female are facing domestic violence either not make roti or some other odd issues because high level of gender inequality and women occupy lowest position in male dominated society. Pakistan is the third most dangerous country in the world for women according to recent report. Many women not to report cases of violence to authorities because they fear to being ostracized and shamed by communities.

The human right commission of Pakistan reported that about four women are killed every day either by their husband or any other family member.

In Pakistan acid attacks ratio is increasing. According to acid survivors foundation up to 150 acid attacks occur every year and majority victims are female. Acid attack occur often occur as revenge against a women who rejects a proposal of marriage or some other reason.

There are many factors by which domestic violence are increases poverty, illiteracy and social taboos.

Home is meant to be where we feel secure and safe but abuses and violence that occur there. A woman lives in fear and pain.

Dowry is also main reason of domestic violence. Dowry deaths are death of women who murdered by continuously torture by their husband or in laws. It is common country Like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Iran. India reports highest number of dowry death and Pakistan reports second highest numbers of dowry death with 2,000 reported. Dowry deaths have been rising in Pakistan for decades. Gender inequality is made by our society and this is the main reason of all female issues in Pakistan.

Domestic violence cause serious injuries, wound, fractures, sleeping disorder, suicidal thought and other mental and physical, psychological, social and emotional consequences. We should respect them give love, security, comfort at home because home is the safest place. Maintain a healthy, respectful relationship with your spouse. Encourage your neighborhood and surrounding watch if any one is being abused. Educate others on domestic violence give awareness to others may be your little effort will make some one life secure.
