QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri on Friday said that those who accept the Constitution of Pakistan would be welcomed back in our fold. “There will be no benefit of dialogue with those who are not accepting Pakistan as an independent country,” he added.

Responding to the quarries of participants of 20th Senior Management Course here at Chief Minister’s Secretariat he said that dialogue is underway with Baloch militants sitting abroad but it should be cleared that it makes two hands to clap. “We would continue dialogue with established principles and would not tolerate the bloodshed and killing of innocent people with the funds of Indian Intelligence Agency (RAW) in our province,” he added.

Responding to a question, Chief Minister lamented that media is not giving due courage to Balochistan, adding that many seminars were held in which media persons and anchors were invited but Balochistan denied coverage in national mainstream media and for unknown reasons. “Media ought to understand that we have given a large province to Pakistan which is the future of country in terms of its resources,” he said.

Nawab Zehri said that Balochistan is abundantly rich in mineral resources with low population and those countries in the world had made rapid development with meager resources having low population.

He said that if the resources of Reko Dik were utilized properly then each family in Balochistan would be able to get Rs 20,000 to 25,000 monthly just sitting at home and without any work.

Nawab Zehri said that our forefathers fought against British colonial rulers and embraced martyrdom protecting the entire region, adding leader like Khan Abdul Samad Khan also embraced martyrdom for the sake of country. “We are the heirs of Pakistan, it is our country and it is like our mother and would never think of treason with it,” he asserted.

He said that terrorists killed my children but they could not break my determination and will to serve the masses, adding that at one stage nobody could imagine to sing national anthem and hoist national flag in educational institutions of Balochistan. However, he said that owing to their sacrifices now the green flag is hoisted throughout Balochistan and national anthem is sung in all educational institutions.

He said that the so-called separatists targeted teachers, professors, women, labourers and innocent people. However incumbent government after hectic efforts has brought the target killers to justice.

Chief Minister said that we are in state of war and living in a conflict zone, having a long border therefore completely ending suicide attacks is not possible. Despite that, he said security forces are striving hard to wipe out terrorism and have foiled many suicide attempts. “Peaceful and educated Balochistan is our vision,” he said, adding that we had increased budget of education and health sectors in and also establishing new universities in the province.
