QUETTA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has on Tuesday said that investigation must be carried out to determine how the security lapse happened that culminated into Quetta tragedy.

Talking to media after visiting the injured in Quetta, Imran Khan said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif should focus on the administration in Quetta and Balochistan more since the province was highly sensitive and threatened from terrorism.

PTI chief said that this wasn’t the first time such a major terrorist attack had taken place in Quetta. He added that this was the second time in the same year that Quetta has been attacked by the terrorists.

“November 2 will decide the fate of Naya Pakistan”, said Imran.

“No matter what happens, they cannot stop us from registering our peaceful protest on the 2nd of November,” Khan told reporters in Islamabad.

He rubbished the government representatives’ claim that the PTI is calling militant wings to participate in Islamabad lockdown protest.

They are spreading propaganda. This is absolutely untrue, he added.
