QUETTA: Balochistna Chief Minsite Nawab Sanallah Zehri has said that building hostels at the schools and colleges is necessary to provide residential facilities to the girl and boy students coming from far flung areas. Special attention would be aid on this at the PSDP of next financial year and members of assembly would also be bound to include construction of hotels at the educational institutions in their development schemes in their areas.

He was speaking at the inauguration of lecturers hostel at Government Girls College Cantt built at the pointing out of Speaker Balochistan Assembly Ms Rahila Durrani.

He announced rupees 10 million grant for the college and said that government would also resolve other problems besides improving security of college.

He said building lecturers hostel at the biggest and old educational institution of girls education in the province is great headway and it is first project of its kid to provide residential facilities to women teachers of far flung areas. He congratulated Speaker Rahila Durrani in this regard.

He said women role has great important e in any society fr its develop. Women are half of our populating and their role in social development is equal to males. Women education is also of great significance because they developed our future and educated mothers have better role in the education and upbringing our new generation.

He said when there will be education popular in every village and ear then we would move forward. Literate peaceful and development is our vision and this is the reason present government was according special interest to development of education. At today’s changing and developed world it is necessary we would equip our new generation with quality and modern education so that it could become able to face new challenges.

He said education budget has been increased manifold.

He said he salutes mothers and sisters services for imparting education t their girls and request them to discharge their duty with sense of responsibility. He said women teachers are discharging important duty of educating our new generation government would continue cooperation with them.

He also announced Coaster for the college, installation of tube well, regularization of Class IV employees, appointment o staff of the colleges hostel and provision of funds for college boundary.

In her speech Speaker Ms Rahila Durrani said Nawab Zehri is the first Chief Minister who has visited this old institution. She said it has been her effort to share her part in providing facilities for education sector particularly girls education and providing facilities at their educational institutions because girls education is as much important as of mens’.

Education Minister Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal and MPA Abdul Kairm Nosherwani also addressed.

In her address of welcome Principal Noor Jahan Khetran highlighted problems of the college.

Keys of flats at the newly built hostel were distributed among lecturers.
