QUETTA: Balochistan’s Lawyers end the courts boycott after the 8th August incident in Balochistan and announced the protesting schedule in entire province of Balochistan.

QUETTA: Balochistan’s Lawyers end the courts boycott after the 8th August incident in Balochistan and announced the protesting schedule in entire province of Balochistan.

The Lawyers of Balochistan High Court Bar Association, Balochistan Bar Council and Balochistan Bar Association announced to take strike in the courts on following days of Tuesday and Thursday against not carrying out an investigation and bringing the culprit into the justice following the incident of Civil Hospital Quetta where Lawyers community were targeted.

Talking to the media persons in Quetta Press Club Balochistan High Court Bar Association Advocate Abdul Ghani Khilji, Advocate Abdulah Jan Kakar, Advocate Attaulah Lango and others unanimously rejected the judicial Commission which was formed to investigate the incident of Quetta carnage.

A protesting rally and sit-in in this regard will be taken out in front of Balochistan Assembly, Quetta Press club and Chief Minister House and Governor House.

It further said all the district Bar Association will stage a protest to their areas including protesting in front of the office of Deputy Commissioner.

They said no lawyers would be presented to this commission neither they would allow to run it.

The purpose of forming this judicial commission is to sabotage the suo-motu action taken by the Supreme Court they blamed.

Representatives of Lawyer community denied of any development made regarding this incident and adding that, “we have not even been informed regarding investigating the case.

Owning to expose the killers of fellow lawyers a country wide movement has been decided to run and making it functional a committee has been formed that includes Ali Ahmad Kurd Advocate, Advocate Sajid Tareen, Advocate Abdulah Kakar, Advocate Umar Farooq, Advocate Abdul wali Nasir, Advocate Kamran Murtaza, Advocate Amanulah Yasin Zai, Advocate Amir Rana and others were present during the press conference.

They said the incident of 8th August was extremely tragic and painful which would never be forgotten.  “45 days have gone neither the investigatory report have been presented nor any criminal arrested,” they added.

Lawyer warned to continue their protest until the culprits are arrested.
