QUETTA: Spokesman for Balochistan Government, Anwarul Haq Kakar has said MQM’s chief Altaf Hussain is not mentally stable, and it is the time for the patriotic MQM people of Karachi to abandon him.

Kakar held a news conference at Chief Minister Secretariat Quetta to strongly condemn the attack on media houses and speech of MQM’s head Altaf Hussain. “I strongly condemn the attack on Media as the Constitution guarantees freedom of expression,” he said.

Kakar said Altaf Hussain is psychic and he is not in his senses whenever he makes such remarks. “I just appeal and request Urdu speaking people to express their feelings against Altaf Hussain. He cannot enslave people,” he said. “People of Karachi are educated, and Altaf Hussain cannot exploit them by using the card of Urdu speaking or Mohajir.”

He said, however, it came now that people in MQM should make formal announcement to disassociate with Altaf Hussain. “Chief Minister Balochistan is annoyed too on Altaf’s  ncalled for remarks against Pakistan. He just should keep in mind that no one can destabilize Pakistan by using anything,” he told the reporters.

Kakar said the recent and frequent statements regarding Pakistan is meant to divert the attention from Kashmir issue. “We will raise the injustices done to the Kashmiri people and such tactics will be useless,” Kakar concluded.
