QUETTA: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan has said that it had arrested an accused who was pressurizing staff of Deputy Commissioner Office Quetta by introducing himself as an official of NAB and Military Intelligence.

In a press release issued, here on Monday night, a spokesman for NAB Balochistan said that NAB received information that a person had been pressurizing staff of DC Office Quetta for making local certificate after introducing himself as official of NAB and retired Lt-Colonel of Military Intelligence.

“A team of NAB Intelligence reached DC Office and arrested the accused along with his accomplice,” the spokesman said, adding that the suspect identified as Imran Ali was son of a retired DSP and resident of Hazara Housing Society Quetta. He further said that the accused was playing role of a fake official of NAB and MI. The accused has been shifted to Civil Line Police Station for interrogation. Further probe was underway.
