QUETTA: Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan and Law Enforcement Agencies had launched a combing operation in Kharotabad area of the provincial capital, arresting 13 suspect persons during early hours of Saturday.

Weapons and rounds were also seized during the Combing operation here in Quetta.

“At least 13 suspect persons were rounded-up during the combing operation launched in Kharottabad area of the provincial capital by FC Balochistan and Intelligence Agencies,” the spokesman said.

He added, “300 personnel of FC, Police and Law Enforcement Agencies had took part in the operation.”

24 pistols, 02 rifles and one shot gun were also seized while Kharottabad operation.

“The arrested persons had been shifted for further investigation,” the spokesman said.

Security Forces had launched a massive operation in Kanak area of Mastung a day before where they arrested at least 27 suspected persons including four facilitators of Quetta’s Civil Hospital suicide attack.

07 members of armed groups and 09 foreigners were among the detainees in Mastung operation.
