QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri has said that his government is using all the available resources to project the Information Technology field and turn the youth into skilled human resource.

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri has said that his government is using all the available resources to project the Information Technology field and turn the youth into skilled human resource.

He said this while addressing a ceremony organized by Information Communication, Technician while distributing prizes of laptop and certificates among the position holder students.

Chief Minister Balochistan said that Balochistan has to be turned into an educated and peaceful province by improving the health, education and information technology sectors.

Chief Minister said that he desired that skilled human resource should be available in Balochistan and in sufficient number so that they should play their role for the development of the province by working within the country and abroad.

Chief Minister said that Balochistan has made a history in the field of information technology, adding that he desire that the population in Balochistan is adequately educated in information technology and the current literacy rate in the province is not up to the mark which should be improved. Chief Minister said that the skilled human labour can play its role in the fields of agriculture, livestock, education and health sectors apart from raising the prospects of employment for the youth. He said that the information technology is being materialized through Chief Minister’s initiative programme which is a positive sign, adding this project is of 100 million US dollars and government has paid 2 and half crore rupees of it while rest of the amount would be paid to the concerned shortly. He said that he desired to do something good for the youth and therefore, as many as 24 students out of 196 have been provided laptops while others are provided certificates and fifty thousand rupees. He said that as many as 30 thousand laptops have been announced for IT field and he desires, it should be 50 thousand so that the youth are educated and are able to play their role for the country’s good.
