QUETTA: Kidnapped son of former Opposition leader of Balochistan Assembly Kachkol Ali Advocate was recovered in Chaman area of Balochistan on Tuesday.

According to Balochistan Levies, levies personnel recovered Nabeel Baloch when he was being shift across the border though Chaman bypass.

Levies personnel indicated of stopping a suspected vehicle when they opened fire on Balochistan Levies. The Balochistan Levies personnel returned fire the militants run away without vehicle. Balochistan Levies recovered a man from the vehicle who was identified as Nabeel Baloch son of former opposition leader of Balochistan Assembly Kachkol Ali Advocate.

Nabeel Baloch was kidnapped some 14 months ago from Karachi. There was a massive campaign for his recovery and he was counted among the missing persons by the human rights organisations.
